Yes. We have an in-house dyno at our shop in Tabor City, NC, near Myrtle Beach. We dial in drivability first, then make all of the wide open throttle pulls on the dyno, for a better result in a safer, more controlled environment.
In person tuning is $450, or $550 with a power adder like a supercharger, turbo or nitrous.

Yes. We tune trackside at drag racing and road course events, in person or remotely. Pricing starts at $400 and can vary by track, especially when travel is involved.
A basic revision is $150 for smaller parts added after the tune. A major revision is $250 for cams, forced induction, heads or displacement changes.
A dyno tune is $850. If you only want to see what your car makes, dyno pulls are $50 per pull.

Outlaw Performance Engineering is a dyno tuning, ECU tuning and performance shop in Tabor City, North Carolina, right on the North and South Carolina state line. Every tune starts with an evaluation of the car and a pre tune datalog. Townsend gets the car dialed in for cruising around and works out the drivability quirks first, then straps it to our in-house dyno and makes all of the wide open throttle pulls there, for a better result in a safer, more controlled environment. A dyno tune is $850, dyno pulls are $50 each, and an in person tune is $450.
GM LS and LT vehicles make up the largest share of our work, from Corvettes and Camaros to other LS and LT powered cars, followed by Ford Coyote Mustangs and Dodge. HP Tuners is our primary software, with PCMTEC for Ford, and we work with standalone engine management from FuelTech, Haltech, Holley, MaxxECU, ECUMaster and Link. We tune for E85 and race gas as well as pump gas.
We install and tune supercharger, turbocharger and nitrous combinations, with experience on ESS, ProCharger and Whipple superchargers and Precision and HPT turbochargers. Cam installs, headers, full exhaust and intakes are $165 an hour for install labor, with parts quoted per job, and every build is tuned after the install.
Drivers come to the shop from Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway, Longs and the Grand Strand, from Wilmington and the North Carolina coast, from Charleston and the Lowcountry, and from Charlotte, one of the biggest areas our customers drive in from. We also tune cars for drivers from Virginia, owners in other states ship their cars to the shop, and remote tuning by email is available nationwide from $400.
We tune at drag racing and road course events, in person or remotely, from $400 depending on the track and travel. We also tune GM, Ford and Dodge transmissions at the shop.
